Resident Evil Code Veronica HANGS when I get to Antarctica

My backup RE Code Veronica works perfect up until I exit the crashed plane in part 2 of the game. After Im given the option to save part 1 it takes a very long time to load the next cut scene. The cut scene loses the dialogue sound then when it finishes and I try to enter any door or inventory screen it hangs with a black loading screen. I made it to the inv once and it had weird gfx glitches.

Im using swap magic 3.6 with a special load and as I say the game works perfect until I get to part 2.

Please help me if you can
