Olevia to DVD with S-Video in B&W

First time user...
After connecting my Olevia TV to my DVD player with an S-Video cable, the picture comes in B&W only. Prior to hooking it up with the S-Video the picture was in full color. The TV has a S-Video setting on the Source menu. Suggestions will be much appreciated!

Not sure on the s-video but you should be using a component input if you have one. Then you can set your dvd player to progressive and receive a much better picture. As far as the s-video the cable or your tv input might be damaged.

The black and white picture showed up on my TV once but the reason why was becaise the cable wasnt in all the way when i moved my comp so i jus pushed it back in and bam color lol dont know if thats the problem but s video isnt the best use component or hdmi for better quality
