Is it possible to copy God of War to a DVD9 without rebuilding...

...that could ensure that the movies and cut scenes remain and I need not rebuild the game and since i have dvd dl media wouldn't it be better that way. a dvd9 to dvd9 copy instead of all the detailed backup proceedure listed elsewhere in the forum?

and will all modchips read a dvd9 game properly?

Just download imgburn, its free. Google it.
Then select read mode, it will read both layers into one ISO file.
Then you can just select write mode in Imgburn, and select the ISO you just made, and burn it to a DVD DL.
Yes most modchips should play DVD9. Which modchip do you have?

I burned GOW: II today with nero 8.0

Coppied the game to a DualLayer disc. So you don't need to rebuild it if you have a DL dvd.

Thanx 4 the reply. I use Super 7 modchip http://www.neoasic.com/super7.htm The "official" site says it can read D9. So let's hope it reads DL disks.

Yep you should be ok then since it will read DVD9 disks, cause thats what they are is Dual Layer. Let us know how it goes for you ok.
