im using a slim ps2 with swap magic with a flip top to block sensors, althought i had to use a straw to reblock the back left sensor, anyway swap magic loads, game loads but after a short amount of time the game disc starts to slow down spinning then speed back up, this causes the gameplay to do the same, is it the swap magic disc? my sensors? or my media? i used dvd decryptor to burn it on memorex media
thanx

Magic word: Memorex.
I say this becuase if the sensors weren't working, then Swap Magic wouldn't work. I used memorex, and slimPS2's don't like them, plus it's bad quality media.
Also the straw method is jinky, just google or look here for the 'tape and tissue' method to block the sensor on the inside. That worked better for me than Magic Keys.
also buy media like Verbatim, or in most stores, Sony brand DVD-R's.
I just started using them, and reburned some of my memorex back-ups that gav me the same problem u describe, and now they work.
No, its the rigged sensor coming loose. This is what happens when one of the sensors comes unblocked. Try it out yourself.
For prime example, the disc drake sensor. When t comes loose or unblocked all together this is exactly what happens. I just had this issue and I fixed it by making positive that the sensors were blocked. After I checked them out again I realized they weren't so I made sure everything was nice and tight.
The brand DVD you use is also garbage but I doubt that is causeing this problem.
Stuff sticky tack down in the sensors. That tape and tissue method is another dumb idea.

I guess I should have made it clear that it is the brand that he uses that is garbage!
And the tape and tissue method is not at all as good as using the stuicky tack method. We are talking of 2 different substances, one sticky tack and two tape. Tape will come loose cause of the glue on it will eventually get all soft and gooy and sticky tack just stays in place.
So, now with that being said it dont matter if all of your sensors are probably blocked cause I can tell that the OP's are not. I mean you arent the one posting for help so what does it matter?
