So I ripped a whole dvd, and some of the files don't play. They seem to be just randomly selected files that just dont work. Anyone help?

What DVD did you rip? What software did you use for ripping/decrypting? Which files are you trying to play(vob, ifo, bup)? Be more specific.

I'm ripping that Led Zeppelin DVD. I used a program simply called DVD Decrypter to decrypt the dvd, all the VOB files and an IFO file gets copied to the harddrive. Then I open the IFO in a program called ImTOO DVD Ripper, then I rip the chapters and titles into mp4 format. And about 6 videos don't play when they're ripped. The rest look perfect.
Maybe it's because I'm new to DVD ripping and I've been trying to figure how to do it for a while.
