Hi, i have been using uTorrent for a long time, and after experiencing 10+ poor alternatives, i know it is the best.

Welcome to the suck, because my computer crashes when using utorrent, yet not with any other client. I have ordered more RAM, but i still dont think it will work, so i am asking if anyone knows a good alternative to uTorrent, fast & lightweight?

Thanks in Advance!!

BitTornado but it requires a port range if you use a router and will open a new window for each download, Halite (know nothing of it) and maybe BitComet. I hear good and bad things on it, I know it is banned on a few private sites but I think that's due to earlier versions. For utorrent, try lowering Global connections and Max. connected peers at options>preferences>bittorrent.

Have you tried try azureus? Its a really good alternative to Utorrent, but it requires java(which you probably have)which uses more of your resources. If you have an "ok" computer you could probably run it.

All.
