Is the disc dirty or scratched?

Try using dvdfab decrypter.

dvdman101 hi :)

A "CRC" error is most often caused by bad media - it could be any of the following:

1. A dirty disc,
2. A scratched disc
3. A poor quality disc (cheap media if it happens during the "Burn" section of your work)
4. A bad disc from the Mfgr.
5. It can also be due to structural copy protection on a disk.
6. It can also be from a bad optical component in your drive.

Perhaps it could be that the dvr file structure from the stand alone recorder is not applicable to the programs which need DVD compliant files.

was the disc made on a standalone recorder?

if the disc isnt scratched or dirty do a 1:1 copy, it prolly aint got any protection in it.

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

Looks like a stand alone recorder was used to produce the dvd r in question.

^ thanks ^ was scan reading... hehe

ok the disc is probably dvd VR format and could be the prob in copying

so yeah go for 1 to 1 copy in nero or dvd decrypter mode iso read / mode iso write.

-----------

could still be damaged though... or just degraded due to cheap inferior quailty dye coding.

Nothing here to see, move along folks.
