hi , i'm about to do install custom firmware on my new psp slim but was wondering after instaling the firmware what are all the things that can lead to the psp getting bricked.

basically, I would get a pandora and also make a NAND backup.

after that, just take care when writing to flash 0 (ie. themes)

the recovery menu is your best friend as well if you don't have pandora

Many Things can lead to a brick, i could no way near explain all the ways = But i can tell you that a PSP on start up follows a logical path, if that path ends in a dead end / hanging then a brick situation occurs. In laymans terms if you follow all instruction to the letter bricks are un likley. I have not had one yet (kinda wish i could).

If you intend to mod psps then a Brick is something you ar e bound to encounter, if that worries you.........

As you have a slim thus a pandora battery i would not worry about it, after all afterdawn willalways help :-)
