Hello!

So tomorrow or the day after I will buy a PSP slim with custom firmware 3.71 m33.. I heard that this can play PS 1 roms, if it can - what are psxpsp roms for? (as both can be dled in some trackers.)

one forumer told me psxpsp's are manuals not roms, in other forums i was told i must convert PS1 games to PSP first to be able to play it in PSP.

an example of a converted PS1 game to PSP is as follows:

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee

Type PSXPSP

Released: September, 1997 Filename: bc-oaops1.part**

Source: PS1 ISO Format: PSP Folders w Eboots

Origin: NTSC|U/C Size packed : 24*20 MB

Ripped: Nothing! Size EBOOT: 671 MB

PAL/NTSC Selector: --- Languages: English

Notes:

This is for use in the 3.02 OE-B firmware, just
put the PSP folder in the root of your memstick and you should
be able to play it under Memory Stick in the Game menu.
Have fun!
PS: It has custom icons, and it's own save folder.

I heard roms lag like hell... Eboots are the way to go. When I say converting to a EBOOT.PBP then that means making it so the psp can read it. You can use autopopstation 4 to do convert it. After you have your EBOOT.PBP, take it and put it in its folder (Name it after the game to help you out). So if u have FF7, name the Folder FF7 (You don't have to.. any name works) then you would take the folder FF7 and paste it into the GAME folder of your memory stick.

True! Roms are really LAGGY! That shucks a lot cause I have a lot of games for SNES, but well... if you go for NES games I have an eboot I can pass you which contains the ROM and 363 NES games, very good option! LMK.

hey thanks for the info! actually, i have the dslite for playing snes roms but the gfx is not 100% clean (LoZ - a link to the past) NES/SNES roms in the psp would be sweet; but since i haven't bought my psp yet i don't know what an eboot-pass is.. ^^"
