i just got sony dvd burner come with nero 7 essentials last month and tried to find out to recode the dvd to burn...i already downloaded dvd43 and dvdfab....then i tried to burn it and it said volume failed....what was that suppose to be?

Hi.

First edit your post and remove your Nero serial number. Click the paper/pencil icon in the upper right of your post to enter edit mode.

There isn't any indication in the log of which version of Nero this essentials version is cut from.

Have you tried ripping your disk to your HDD first before processing?

I also don't recommend DVD43. It's been know to cause problems in the past with systems. Remove it from your system entirely. Just use DVDFab HD Decrypter for ripping to your HDD and then Nero Recode or DVD Shrink for reauthoring/compressing.
