Alright guys I am new to this forum so I apologize in advance if I am posting this in the wrong spot... But here is my issue...

I want to set up a home theater to play all dvds from my external hardrive, or media center I guess you can call it, which is like I think 1.5 TB and is connected to my home network... I use it to store and share all of my music, photos and videos with the users of my home network... Blah, Blah, Blah...

Ok, the real question is I want to know what programs I should use to rip DVD's and store them on this media center drive in any format, or the most universally applicable format I can, so that I can play them back in Vista... I order DVD's from a service similar to netflix, so the DVD's are originals and are copyrighted, oh, and I plan to use this for personal purposes only, not to resell or anthing like that...

Any help or advice would be helpful, I have been reading alot of forums on this topic, but I believe this is the best one to help me out with my issue...

We can't help you pirate movies from Netflix...in the future if you have questions we can only help you with movies that you own.
