New Nokia ASIC 11 Handsets - can't be unlocked by code yet!

You may be aware that Nokia's BB5 range of handsets can not be unlocked. This has been the case for quite some time.

Nokia's older DCT 4 range of handsets have been easy to unlock using using unlock code calculator's.

BUT some of the newer budget Nokia's handsets have caused a little surprise. Although these are still DCT4 handsets they can not be unlocked by code. They use a completely new ASIC type - ASIC 11 (previously there was only ASIC 2,5,6 & 7).

Currently ASIC 11 handset range include the following models:
1110i, 1112, 1600, 2310, 2610
