I always liked the PC Game "Trespasser" where one person is trying to do
something without others around.

Not some game full of puzzles like MYST or RIVEN.

I would appreciate any suggestions from the knowledgeable folk here.

Most games are shoot 'em up, puzzles, arcade stuff, strategy....

I liked TRESPASSER.....
