hi. i have a dvd multi recrder. does this mean it can burn both dvd+r and dvd-r.

it is also capable of burning dvd+r dl but i would like to know if it can burn dvd-r because i want to make backups of my ps2 games

There should have been some information that came with the burner, on what formats it can burn.

Otherwise, go to the manufacturer's website, and look there.
