Just got a PSP Slim for X-Mas. Never played one before so I know nothing of hacking it or anything. Here goes...

I took it to a guy to get it hacked, dude's done tons of PSP's and he did my friend's, which his seems to be working fine, mine however is not! At first I took it over to him with a 2 gig card. I threw my games on the 2 gig which I obtained from newsgroups and they worked just fine. Couple days later I get an 8 gig. These same games choose to not show up on the new 8 gig stick, except for a couple. I formatted the disk, tried again, and now some more games have showed up, but some still are choosing to not appear on the stick at all. And a couple of the ones not showing up actually did show up before, so I don't get what the hell's goin' on.

Any clue what's goin' on?!

check the counterfiet section for psp memory sticks

your sounds like a classic fake.

Where did you get your memory stick from? If it was real it should be still under warranty and take it back to the shops and get a refund or replacement.

Off Ebay from a "trusted seller" dude sold a bunch and had 100% feedback. Yah I read somewhere to check whether or not the magic gate thing says "supported". But I just checked it after reformatting the disk and then it says "unknown" so I'm not sure what to think since it did say it was supported. But I'm not so sure that that's the case since on my 2 gig games also weren't appearing, and the 2 gig was purchased from gamestop.
