I don't even know how to type in the codes and wouldn't want to learn.

If you have an AR, you should have a USB cable and the AR Console software. Yes, you can hook it up and copy and paste into the cosole window, loading your AR device that way.

I wouldn't type any codes.

What game are you inputting codes for?

There are tons of people who post the all sorts of AR codes for Diamond/Pearl all over the place. If you haven't found them, you haven't looked. Not being mean. Just saying if you don't know where your feet are its because you haven't looked down.

You are probably going to want a copy of Pokesav that lets you make your own AR codes for whatever you want.

Read this old post of mine and see if it helps.

The Action Replay software window has 3 areas. The one on the left has a listing of the games. The one on the lower right is where you can "add new cheat" and paste in code. If you don't have an add new cheat option, you have the old Action Replay software and need to update to do what you want to do the way you want to do it.

Your other option is to take the AR code you cut from somewhere, paste it into an XML file that has the rest of the stuff needed and drag and drop that file onto the game list on the left panel.

The XML file would look like:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<codelist>
<name>POKESAV</name>
<game>
<name>Pokemon Pearl (USA)</name>
<gameid>APAE 31D0AFDE</gameid>
<cheat>
<name>found_code_from _web</name>
<codes>

cut and pasted code goes here

</codes>
</cheat>
</game>
</codelist>
