can I erase DVD+R DL DVD'S?

Nope. I'm don't think there is even any +RW DL or -R/W DL media out which is the erasable format.

becuase I have 3 DVD+R DL which says on the bottom RW

Ah that deceiving RW some manufacturers put on them. Nope they would need to say +RW/-RW DL to be erasable. Again I don't think there is any rw media on the market at this time.

The RW on the DVD+R DL discs is part of the official + logo. Philips/Sony/HP thought at the time that a single DVD+RW disc would be sufficient as a competitor to the DVD-R and DVD-RW discs because their version was erasable and capable of both video recording and data random access recording. They guessed wrong when customers asked for a less expensive dye-based write-once version; but the logo stayed with the +RW.

JVC has introduced a DVD-RW DL disc, but it can only be written and read by compatible drives. That eliminates all DVD players, recorders, and drives made up until this date, making the medium rather pointless.
