Please help me remove a file from my computer!!

Hey guys, i have a file on my computer (media player file) that i need to remove. I cant delete it, when i try to delete it the folder its in freezes and i cant go back in without restarting my computer. I tried unlocker but that doesnt work either. Can you please suggest a program or a way i can remove this file.

You want to remove Windows Media Player?
You can not remove it from add/remove programs?
Have you tried to search the HDD and remove it that way?
We can remove it from Registry.
What other Media Players are installed?

no no i want to remove a FILE, its a windows media file .avi i think, sorry i wasnt more specific

Try this FILE utility. Download MoveOnBoot. Follow the prompts.

Hmmm....I wonder if that file is a porn movie LOL

yea, I have the same problem. I can't delete my pictures or other jpeg files and it always says 'the program is in use and cannot be deleted' But cleary. I wasn't using the particular jpeg files when I was trying to delete it.
