oopsy!! psp urgent help!!!

Well this is the problem with my psp. When i turn on my psp it goes to the normal XMB screen, but when i press the directional keys it freezes and it turns off.Also sometimes it doesnt turn on at all but the green light is showing..and the other times its black but the back light is on...I can get to the recovery menu but that freezes also.... anybody know a way i can fix this?

1.i've problem upgraded or downgraded my psp more than 10 times
2. I think i have 3.10 M33 or somthing like that
3. i was at 1.50 before but it was still freezing so i went to 3.10 M33 but 1.50 wasnt as bad as this
4. i have a (PHAT) psp
