I have a NTSC slim system with a Duo3 Ultra. I tried to play a PAL game on my system and the games seems to load then the screen goes blank, then comes back then goes blank... it cycles like this. Now I understand the basics behind the different between PAL and NTSC, but my question are:
1) Why is my screen "rolling"? Isn'T the duo3 is suppose to play games from all regions. Is it the TV I'm using?

it's true that duo3 does play games from all regions but, when ps2 plays back the pal games it spits out the pal signal which you ntsc tv can't display properly because of the higher signal. Some mods fix this by forcing the ps2 to give out the ntsc signal no matter what game you play and viseversa. so by patching to ntsc with the pal2ntsc it should fix but that doesn't always work. Also, a lot of times the screen will not be centered even after patching. Hope all this helps.
