Windows Media Player - Can I export tag changes?

I've spent a fortnight going through my music and updating my tags and album art using the "find album" tool on windows media player.

After synching it with my Zen Vision M, as well as a quarter of the songs failing to transfer. The tags such as artist and album information has remained unchanged.

I've gone into the my music folder and the tags on the files haven't changed.

Is there a way I can export my windows media player library to a new destination with all my songs and accurate tags? A sort of fresh slate to work from.

Could be wrong but isn't that what "Apply Media Changes" does?
