Hi!
Sorry if this is a repost, but I didn´t found any thing to clarify my doubt.
Here it goes... does the Swap magic 6 plus CD ( not the DVD ) make me able to play PS1 games with my PS2 Slim????

Thanks,

Dani.

you can't play psx games on your ps2 with swap magic cd version. but you don't need it anyways. to play psx games on your ps2 slim just turn it on without a game then click on browser and insert a original psx game and you would see a black cd, now what you do is take the original psx cd out while is spinnig and put the back up after this just press x and you would be playing your psx back up game.

I never got this trick to work on my slim PS2. I did the button mod to it so i can use swapmagic and push the open button without the PS2 notice the fliptop opens.

the browser swap only works on v9 ps2. the system will redetect the disc when you click on the ps1 icon, and since it's a backup, it will fail.

no. retail discs are one time discs, just like cd-r/dvd-r.
