I?m hoping someone here will be able to assist me on this since I have ?googled? my problem, thinking others must be suffering the same fate, but all to no avail.

I am currently using Nero Ultra v6.6.1.4 (having previously installed the over inflated 7 which I swiftly removed lol). However, I have been happily editing my mp3 files for many months using the Wave Editor only to discover today that after I have finished editing the mp3 and clicked on ?Save?, the original bitrate of the mp3 has been changed by the Editor?. GRRRRR.

I have therefore concluded that I must have have ruined a great number of tracks by assuming incorrectly that the original bitrate would not be affected. Indeed, I really cannot understand why this is so.

I appreciate I could choose to ?Save As?, and load settings individually to be the same as the input bitrate, but quite honestly that seems to me to be a right pain and extremely time consuming.

Any assistance/advice anyone can give me would therefore be very much appreciated.
