You have to unbrick your PSP (please see below):
For the PSP Slim: Go here
For the PSP Phat: Go here
If you want guides:
For the PSP Slim and Phat: Do this whole guide (only the first part/post).
Note: this installs M33 firmware (not OE)
If you want to lessen the chance of doing this again or make it easier to unbrick then read the second part/post.
Hope this Helps :)

Can you go into recovery menu?
Hold the R-Trigger down while turning on the PSP.

Before it also used to turn off everytime i saved.

Your only choice is to go to a friend with a card reader or buy one yourself. Put the MS in the card reader then do the guide. You can buy MS card readers at almost any electronics store. Just make sure it can read Memory Stick (Pro) Duo.

Take the Battery out of the PSP and hook up to the AC Adapter (no Battery in the PSP) and see if the PSP will boot.

I think this is a cause of the OE firmware. Use the M33 firmware and there will be less problems.

i used to do that before and it used to work, but not this time. i don't even know if it is even bricked or broken. what else did u do?
ok, i went out and bought a card reader, i put the pandora files on the stick but my psp still does not turn on. it only blinks the green light, and does not turn on the screen or itself. there is no aound or anything, just the green light and i have put the pandora files on the memory stick, what can i do now. by the way i followed these steps for the pandora battery from here.

Ok, how did you put the files on the stick? It isn't just about putting files to the memory stick, you have to flash the MS with a certain .bin file too. Ok here is another way of making the Pandora MS: Format the stick again and there is a file in my sig. Download that (and extract it somwewhere) and look at the instructions (included) on how to install it on your memory stick. Then put the pandora battery and pandora memory stick to the PSP and turn it on.
Actually I'll explain the instructions here:
Extract it to your Desktop. Once you have extracted it, go to the folder "Pandora371" and open your command prompt then go to the directory where Pandora371 is in (do this by typing "cd Desktop" then "cd Pandora371" [note these are case sensitive]). Then format your memory stick by typing in the command prompt: "mspformat.exe X" (without quotation marks) where X is the drive letter of your MS. Once that is done, exit your command prompt.
Then go to Windows Explorer, there is a folder inside "Pandora371" called "PSP_Memory_Stick". Copy all of its contents onto the root of the MS, overwriting any files that exist (althought there shouldn't be because you should have formatted it). Next, go to Pandora371 and double-click on the "installipl.cmd" and it should detect the MS and flash it with the ipl_loader.bin. Now you are done making another Pandora MS! Put your Pandora Battery and Pandora MS into PSP and turn it on and it should go to a screen that says press X to install 3.71 M33-2.
If it still doesn't work, then there may be something wrong with your battery. Make sure you modded your battery correctly, and that you put the files on the stick and flashed the stick with the ipl_loader.bin using the installipl.cmd file, then you may need to get another battery or MS if it still goes wrong.
Worst case scenario: your PSP is dead.
Hey, i wish you good luck...

Wait, you haven't modded your battery? I thought you did. Ok search for "Pandora Battery PSP" on Google and you will come up with lots of hardmods and softmods. Do the softmods.
Oh wait, there is a guide in the bottom in my sig. It's a guide; go there.

You don't need to turn your PSP on, you just have to open your battery...
before we continue, do you have any friends that have 1.5 firmware or M33 CFW or and custom firmware?
KK we shouldn't be doing this. Give me your MSN or something and I will chat with you.
