hi.

i have 32" sony tv which is like 15 years old. me and my wife think
it's time for a new tv. lol

i use my television only to watch movies that i download with my pc. (planning to buy wii next week) my pc and tv are connected with some $5 ebay video/audio cables. and my pc has some old agp graphic card. (128mb mem, radeon i don't recall the model)

i'm looking for lcd tv between 40-46 inches.

my questions is "does 720p or 1080p make huge difference with
my setting?"

also, does second name brands like westinghouse, olevia, sceptre
worth it?
