GBA save games disappear

I've had to post this here, as there is no GBA section.

My game saves on my GBA sp keep on disappearing, it does it with harvest moon, FFV, FFTA and its done it with pokemon a few times.
Is it my GBA or the games that have the problem? All these games used to save ok. And im not moving the cartridge about when its in either.

Possibly the batteries in the cartridges m8 - not an expert but there are similar threads about.
