I have an ilo DVD recorder and find it very frustrating to operate. Its been preparing a disk for recording for almost an hour. I'm sick of waiting and want to record the show. Its been saying its 99% but nothing else is happening.

What model is it
If an 04 model its an older but a good unit
Have you used it before and it worked?
Is it New to you?
Does it have the original DVD drive?
While it should not make a difference What disks are used?
