How big are the files, what file type are they in and how many are you trying to burn?

they are music videos seperately compilied from music dvds. roxio will only allow me to burn one at a time to dvd. i can compile divx it seems to work fine, but dvd gives me an unspecified error message. so i compilied them (about 50) one per disc thinking i could then go back and enter them one by one but after i load more than one, the program experiences a problem and has to shut down. roxio keeps giving me the same crap about updating my px engine(it has been) even tried saving some to my hard drive using one-click dvd copy.roxio wont recognize them nero wont compile them either. what else can i do? circuit city suggested pinnacle software but thats $100. thats almost what i paid for roxio. HELP!

I still don't know what the file type is...need to know if they are avi's, VOB's etc. so we can get you the correct program to do the work you want to do.

sorry im new at this. there are 2 .BUP and .IFO files and a .VOB file in each folder. i guess that makes them a VOB file? i figured all dvd files were the same, sorry and thanks so much for helping this is very frustrating.

roxio and nero conflict with eachother it could be part the problem, most here wont use roxio due to its drivers, and to uninstall roxio isnt enough you need to get the Roxio ZAP tool to shred the registry.

try dvd flick a free app, and the beta has a menu, so you can load your files, probably avi loaded would be better, but most likely the vobs will go in too...

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

thanks so much. it did burn the video is very grainy with movement(may have been compressed)... some videos although they play fine individually, the audio was on fast-forward or out of sync with the video(maybe i shouldnt upmix audio to 5.1)but its a start!! thanks again

ok i think i got it now...the upmix mono/stereo to 5.1 was causing the sped up audio...not sure why and the second pass video option cleans up the picture. thanks again

none...the audio tab in dvd flick has a mono/stereo upmix to 5.1 surround option...tried it but it was causing the sped up audio
