Hi, I have been having problems when backing up DVD's with ImgBurn and DVD Shrink. After I compress the files, I use ImgBurn to burn the files. However, when I stick the DVD into a player or use my laptop to play the DVD's, I can only access the first 30 mins of video... all the rest of the video has dissapeared though the menu is in full working order. HELP!!!
1) use good media as Taiyo Yudens
2) burn at no more than 1/2 of disc speed rating
3) if possible booktype +R disc to dvd-rom ( imgburn can help )
4) dont't multitask while burning
5) make sure firmware is upto date

Tsst ToshibaSamsung, on LR of imgburn in thr write mode is an icon of a little book, click and a new page appears. Try using the Samsung tab and use the Change for (please select dvd+r media ) the use new setting and click dvd-rom and then hit OK. If all goes well, u get success of\n the screen ( note booktyping is only for +R media )
