I have a wired network using XPHome and land card.

I have a printer that is connected to my computer and I want to share it with my wife's computer that is connected by wire network connection to my computer.

I have done everything I know to do but my wife's computer does not find my shared computer.

I have checked share this computer in control panel/printer and named it EPSONsty. When I go to my wife's computer and click contro panel/jprinters and add a printer, select the brouse for network printer the shared printer is not found.

Does anyone know what I have failed to do or what I am doing wrong.

i am not sharing any other files, drives, etc.

are both using same windows? do both pc's see each other? reduce your sig to conform to forum specs ASAP. yours is 9 lines of text.

You need to share files and printers in network.
Then if you don't want your wife to see your hard disk, then don't share your hard drive. But you need to share the machine so the printer will be shared.

THEN you can do the share thing with the printer.
