I am looking to buy either of these, both about $45AUD. Does anyone have opinions on which one is better? Also Im not sure if my motherboard supports SATA. It is a Gigabyte 7VT600L about 4 years old. Does anyone know and is there much difference between SATA and IDE anyway?
Thanks.

I would go with the Pioneer there great drives.sata uses smaller connections so basically the wiring doesn't take up as much room helping your system to cool better plus there a little faster. doesn't look like your mobo supports sata though according to the specs below
