Dear all,

I have been encountering problems with my internet browser as popadds mainly from em.pc-on-internet.com. I am not very good at internet issues and even I have been trying to follow forum guides but I could not stop this infection. I apologize in advance for the troubles I am causing you. :-(

I have Windows vista and use Internet explorer 7.

Just for the record. This type of infection could of easily been removed in minutes with any good Anti-Spyware removal tool.

I'd be curious how to easily remove it if you could, I have the same problem on a laptop and I've run Spybot and Adaware but they haven't managed to clean it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Try this http://www.hijackthis.de/en
I had the same problem.After alot of help from experts i got it out of my PC.
Also try this http://www.virustotal.com/
My problem was located here:

HKCU\..\Run: [qhdgenkic] c:\users\dean\appdata\local\qhdgenkic.exe qhdgenkic

appdata is a hidden file on your PC that you can see by opening hidden files.

If you open appdata/local then send all the files to www.virustotal for a scan.

Thanks for the info but I actually got it worked out.

I followed the guide on majorgeeks.com

worked well. Not sure which part removed this particular problem but by the end the PC was running smoothly.
