I have a wierd problem happening. normally my home page is set to Google, but yesterday whenever I put an entry into google, it gave me all the usual list of sites, but then, when I click on the one I want, it gives me another search-type page, with loads of "adult" adverts, but never taking me to the page I want.

then last night it reverted to normal but today its doing it again.

I've done all my spyware killer programmes, and AV programmes, so this is very odd. Is it a virus, not being picked up by the AV programme

Download and run Deckard's System Scanner. During the process you will be prompted to download HijackThis. Do this. Post both logs here for review. Someone will get back to you shortly.
