Hi everyone i just bought a psp v3.71 and i try to get it to play download games. I downloaded the cfw 3.80 m33 and i did everything that the .txt told me to do but it wouldn't work. Can anybody help me out here Please. What do i need and what is the m33 thing casue i can't check on my system info it just say v3.71.

That is because you cannot go directly from official Firmware to custom like that. Follow this. It will tell you everything you need to know. Follow every instruction to the letter and within a half hour, you'll have a PSP running custom Firmware 3.72 M33-2. From there you can download the 3.80 M33 and update #2 again and install it just like you would normally.
