hi i've conncted router using cd that came with it but i get a message saying limited or no connectivity my modem is connected to router via ethernet cable my modem is motorola surfboard sb5100 if i connect directly to pc the connection is perfect

is it wireless or cable?
i say u should log onto your router, which by default should be 192.168.0.1 into IEplorer/Firefox/Whatever and put your IP sa a static IP address. Theres a site called PortForward that explains how to setup a static IP, just google it...
thats all i can think of atm
