Hi, just bought Anydvd b4 the price increase. It allows me to use my old favorite dvd decrypter again ( when ripit4me fails ). I'm a nerd, I like DVDD.Sometimes it seems Anydvd is not updated as quickly as dvdfab. Hopefully when one proggie does'nt work, the other will. I have been using dvdfabhd ( the freebie for the longest ).I have seen on the threads when one will work and the other won't and vice versa, but in a couple of days or a week, both will perform. Hope my opinion helps.

Like you, I've also been into freeware. My Anydvd/DVDD rip to the HDD seems faster when compared to dvdfabhd. I'm not much into the movie only or the other extras in proggies, so I'm no help there ( I set up the backup through vob blanker, fixvts, dvd shrink and imgburn ).

I think what the man is asking, is about the ripper function of AnyDVD, not when used in conjunction with other rippers, like DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter or CloneDVD. In that case you compare those applications, not AnyDVD, as it only works in the background. He wants to know how well it performs when used just by itself to rip the movie to HDD.
Correct me if I am wrong Born2ride...
So, how does AnyDVD Ripper perform? How, fast is it, does it offer any options like removing extras, main movie rip, etc.

it performs well, takes less than 10 mins to rip the movie to your HDD.No you can't remove extras, meuns etc. it rips the complete DVD, to use it just right click the icon in your toolbar and click Rip Video DVD To Harddisc..
