I have a corrupted home movie dvd which I want to copy it to other discs(I did not know it was corrupted when I shoot the film on my Sony dvd handycam)It was my daughter's birthday video, which is obviously important to me.
I tried "bad copy" but it won't let me save it on trial version and I tried "cd recovery tool" which is not working either. it has been more than 6 hours that I started the process and is still only done about 30% of it.
Do you know anyother methods? Please help.

Some people reported having good success on bad discs with ImgBurn . Use it in read mode and set it to ignore read errors.Read at a lower than maximum speed.IsoBuster is another one you can give a try.

Hmm...I guess no luck:~(. Don't know what to tell you, google for some commercial software with a trial version...or maybe someone has a better ideea, knows of a better software that will read the disc and replace the corrupt areas with blank data. Did you give IsoBuster a try?
