Dear fellows,

As the title of the thread suggests, I was affected by both lsas.exe and loder.exe, identified by certain webpages as viruses/trojans, but not by nod32 (duh!). Anyway, since my system became extremely slow at startup, I took the liberty of deleting the aforementioned two items (plus systray.exe or something) using HJT, but am still uncertain as to whether I am clean or not. Please, would you kindly have a look at my log below. Many thanks.

Fix this entry with HijackThis:

Except for the one 04 entry you said looked suspicious, your log looks okay.
Upload this file: C:\syslnum.exe to VirusTotal to see if anything is found.

The service you pointed out is legit. It belongs to Micro Application's L Ile Noyee, however that's all I know about it.

You're using an old version of HijackThis.
Uninstall version 1.99, then go here to download HijackThis 2.02.
Run a new scan and please post the fresh log.

I see many ActiveX Controls for online scanners, have you ran any recently? If not, scan with one to see if anything comes up.

Hi Niobis,

I have done all you asked me to: fixed the BHO item, looked for "syslnum.exe" (couldnt't find one though, and it still shows up on the log), found out that Micro Application's file is game-related, and now here's a new HJT log, using the latest version. Furthermore, I did an online virus scan some days ago and it said my system was clear.

In that case, you're computer is clean.

That file is probably hidden, and after more research I believe it is legit. It's probably not needed on startup, but also wouldn't hurt anything to leave it alone. You can fix the entry with HijackThis to take it off startup, but that's your choice.
