After a few years my power supply died the other day after constantly playing call of duty 4.

Can anyone recommend a solid reliable power supply that can handle games around the level of call of duty 4?

Preferably under $50..

Thanks!

what are the specs of you pc? also what psu were you using before? if you are running lower end hardware then this psu would be great.

That looks solid but do you think a 500 watt would be better?

My system is pentium 4 dual processor, 1 gig ram, GeForce 7600 GS Video card, 80 gb hard drive..my friend actually built it and sold it to me, so not sure of all the specs...

let me know what you think, thx man.

that system will run fine with the psu i posted above. you dont need a 500w psu. it will just be a waste of money. however if you plan on upgrading your video card to something like the 3870 or the 8800gt you will need something better.
