where can i download a new product key for windows media center

i have Windows Home Edition on my laptop now i what to but windows media center on it

i have the cd of it and i need a new product key

We'll just pretend we don't know what you're asking for in reality. And give you the pretend answer:

Why, if you have the original MCE install disc, the product registration serial number is located on the sticker that was on the shrink wrap it came in. Hope you didn't throw it away.

But since you asked about downloading it, I think you are asking for a web site referal. Just use PriceWatcher or PriceGrabber or any of the dozens of other pricing sites to find a retailer selling the version of MCE you want, and purchase the license code. I haven't looked recently, but that should be $80 or so.

And if neither of these two answers was what you wanted... try reading the rules of the site and think about what you're asking -- which appears to be "Who wants to play pirate and publically steal from a company for me?"
