hello guys i downloaded u launch elf v4.12 www.sksapps.com there were two files. ulaunch elf v4.12 elf and one was for cd. i downloaded the cue bin files and burned them to cd using alcohol 120 but it didnt work on my ps2. i burned it again on another software dvd decrypter but it didnt work again can someone please tell me what am i doing wrong. and give me a nice guide.please someone tell me i will be very thankful.

What method are you using to boot ulauch elf? Swapmagic, chip, independence exploit?

It could very well be your burn speed, or the media you are using.

should work if burned properly try burning at slowest speed possible.
also use quality media.

Well whenever you bought it what did they tell you was in it? Flip the console over and look for a warranty sticker, check to see if it is void, if it is void or if there is none at all then the console was opened before and if thats the case, then open it up and take a look.

First thing I would check for, is if some sort of logo appears upon start up. Other wise it is rather hard to know what chip is installed in your system. Next best option would be to take the system apart carefully, as mack202 mentioned.
