i might purchase the big ps2, with network adaptor

but is there a way to load a HD advance via swap magic?

and can i install backup games on the hard drive with the ps2?

HD advance or HD loader will come with a disc to allow loading games off the Hard Drive.

Just go to sksapps.com, get the .elf file of both apps (HD loader/HD advance) and put them on a usb drive. You can then load either using Swapmagic.
