Not doing just the movie

Okay someone suggested that I come to this forum....I downloaded dvdfabdecrypterbeta, dvdshrink, and imgburn....on dvdfab I clicked on movie only but it still did the whole movie but Bourne Ultimatum was successful...but now I tried Spiderman 3, clicked on movie only but still did everything...now I've been reading the forum and someone said something for someone else to change dvd9 to dvd5, but I also read that fixvts will work with dvdfab, how do I do that and will it solve my problem...when I went to dvd shrink and clicked on backup it said it was too big for blank dvd.....and is dvdfabplatinum better and is it free....please just explain in steps what I need to do and just what I need so I can be successful with Spiderman 3......thanks for the help

I am not sure why you are having problems doing movie only...hmm...maybe is a bug in the beta version. However, the previous stable version should be just fine with Spiderman 3 as it was released a while ago. You can rip the whole movie and select movie only in DVD Shrink.

DVDFab Platinum , the paid one is not better as in decrypting, it just has more functions available than the free version

Okay we have a problem my printer is out of ink OOPS!!!! I have always kept my original movie in til done then take it out to put in blank to burn......and I never had to do all those changes to dvd shrink because ripit4me did movie only.....I just need to get dvdfab to work when I click on movie only........what I used with my last pc was dvdshrink, ripit4me,fixvts,dvddecrypter....but I really like imgburn alot better.....I'm just having trouble with dvdfab....why won't it do movie only......not trying to be difficult or a pain you know where....I just want it to work without having to do all of that with dvdshrink......like I said I just downloaded fixvts and will wait hopefully for a simpilar fix to get dvdfab to do movie only and also like I said I have never taken out original movie til I was done with everything and ready to burn.....

Try to uninstall DVDFab HD Decrypter and re-install it. I don't know why it rips the entire DVD when you specify movie only. Like I said, maybe is a bug in the beta version.
Also, not all the movies need to be processed with FixVts, especially if you do movie only. Uninstall and install the 4.0.5.0 version, not the beta and try it on Spiderman.

Okay my friends cypruscom and iluvendo I am really not slow or have trouble understanding things because like I said Bourne Ultimatum was perfect.....I just don't understand why dvdfab won't do just main movie when I click on main movie.....that's not such a bad question and I'm not trying to upset anyone or to sound dumb and I've never had to do all those things to shrink and I really like imgburn better than dvddecrypter......so just be patient with this female....all it takes is easy simple instructions....you guys are fantastic I just had to do a little ribbing when I read your comments :)

when I tried to install the other version of dvdfab the sight they sent me to download it said it wasn't available anymore....so could you please give me the sight....thanks because I figure that's got to be the problem.....

Ok I downloaded it....just one last question please....if I go to dvdshrink and it says it's to big then I do fixvts or just do it every time......thank you to everyone for being patient with me....

I said that Fixvts is not always required...however, it is such an easy process, should do it anyway, as there is really no way of knowing if the rip is clean or not.
Were you able to get movie only for Spidie?

SUCCESS!!!!!!! But I owe someone an apology and I stand corrected... after dvdfab was done and for some reason couldn't open up fixvts.. I went to dvd shrink and of course it said it was too big...so I took out original movie and everything was fine....it had done movie only and dvd shrink went fine and I am watching my copy now....so I learned something new :).....THANK YOU EVERYONE who had their part in helping me......this is a silly question why does it have subtitles? I guess things have really changed in the past year...I guess I will have to uninstall my fixvts because when I click on it, it doesn't open from my desktop just goes to where it's located.... everyone take care and thank you again.....

I am still a bit confused about your dilema, but you are happily burning, so that's okay.:~)
As for FixVts...there is nothing to uninstall. It does not instal, it is a self contained tiny executable file. Just move it to where you want it. You ahould keep it for future titles that need fixing.

Ok, but how do I use it (fixvts)if I can't get it to come up like the dvdshrink and the other programs....just got done watching Spiderman 3 and there was only one problem and that is in the beginning a couple of frames skipped....what causes that and do I need to redo it because I need to make a couple of more copies for my kids? That's the only thing I need to learn how to open fixvts..
