PSX save data to my psp?

I have 3.40 oe-a on my psp and i have downloaded ff9. I want to use my old data but I do not know how to convert it. I have tryed through my ps3 but it says no internal memory card found on my memory stick duo and it won't creat on by itself. I do not know how to creat one. If you can help me please e-mail me at email removed.
