hi guys
i just got a new laptop built for me with vista 64bit on it and only one gig of ram. thing id im trying to play world of warcraft and its just terrible and jagged even the fps is 75fps. could this be because theres not enough ram? what the minimum for running vista 64 bit? any recomendations? i have a 256mb graphics card and a 2.2 ghz inttel dual core 2 processor? any thoughts would be great!

a laptop and vista x64 is a bad combination. you should've stuck with normal vista. any x64 OS runs best at 4+ gigs because they're designed to allow more than 3.5 gigs of ram that standard x86 OS limits. x64 is designed for desktop use.

best thing to do is ditch vista x64, switch it to standard vista home premium, and max out the laptop ram.

you're going to have to do a fresh install. so if you have any important data on the hard drive, save it onto another computer or a external hard drive.
