ZoSoIV The good thing about OfficeMax is that they have free shipping on orders over $50. The bad news is they charge sales tax just like the brick and mortar stores.

Sony DVD Media at Best Buy, 100 pack spindles for $22.99.

They don't accept ink cartridges though. Decent Price on Great Media though. The picture shows 8x media, if only! It will be 16x media.

I also picked up the verb's at officemax, and I must say I am not impressed with the packaging. For me, I liked to old look. Hope the discs work out ok. I looked and mine are the MIT also. Is that a good or bad thing?

Thanks,

MIT is good for the single layer, MIS is what you want for the dual layers, MII right now is the one you want to avoid, (Made in India)

Newegg has 20-packs Verbatim 2.4 - 6X DVD-R DL for sale, with free shipping, for $32.99 with an $8.00 rebate. $24.99 if you don't mind doing the rebate thing (I do, but I send 'em in anyway).

Go here:

But...in the comments section some users are complaining that these are MII.

Question: How do I ascertain the coding of a particular DVD? Is there a program, or do I need really good eyesight? Would someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Betty Ann

MII versus MIT, you can't ascertain the country of origin when you order online, in a Brick and Mortar store, look for the country of manufacture, usually located near or beside the UPC area. Hope that this helps.

I am very saddened that I wasn't able to take advantage of this sale (I had bigger, more important bills to pay).

Hopefully my depleting 100 pack lasts until the next sale.

verbatum 16x mcc-004 from staples in canada.
I was running low on dvd's ( i always use verbatum) so i bought 3 X 100 boxes and yesterday while doing some projects my old stock ran out. I Opened one of the new ones and on the first disc after 30% it spit out and said bad media.I had just downloaded the new imgburn 2.4 so i thought it was that, so i tried with dvdflick which still had imgburn 2.3 , same thing 30% and quit, So i tied , nero , clonedvd2. All failed at 30% opened the other 2 packs and they work perfect ,same burns, all same software. First time ever had bad verbatums. the packs all came off the same shelf.
