Your best bet would be to start with a virus scan. Then a spyware scan using adaware, and spybot.

You can right click the Taskbar (near the clock),
And you can also start Task manager through there also.

As previously posted , I suggest a good check-up on your rig.

You have Scanned computer for viruses,malware & Spyware

Does your PC crash, is your system running slow or are you receiving regular
error messages?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 1: Clear your computer for unnecessary files!

Use:

EasyCleaner -> http://personal.inet.fi/business/toniarts/files/EClea2_0.exe
or
CCleaner -> http://www.ccleaner.com/download126.asp

These will delete Windows registry for entries that are pointing
nowhere and remove unnecessary files such as temps, backups,
URL history, and cookies.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 2: Use online Virus scan!

These will scan your computer for viruses directly
from the web page, using an ActiveX applet.
Use one or two of these and Internet Explorer for Scanning!

- Trend Micro http://fi.trendmicro-europe.com/consumer...call_launch.php

- Panda http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/ac...activescan_p...

- Etrust http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx

- Norton http://security.symantec.com/ssc/home.as...us&venid=sym...

- Mcafee http://uk.mcafee.com/root/mfs/default.asp

- F-Secure http://support.f-secure.fi/fin/home/ols.shtml

- BitDefender Online scan http://www.bitdefender.com/scan/licence.php

Online Scanners is able to remove viruses but it cannot disinfect Worms, Trojans, Backdoors, etc since there is nothing to disinfect.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 3: Download Hijackthis!

What is Hijackthis?
HijackThis examines certain key areas of the Registry and Hard Drive and lists their contents.

Hjt download -> http://koti.mbnet.fi/pattaya1/lataus/hijackthis_self.exe

-> download -> Unzip to C:\HJT-> Press Ok and Close window

Make sure that you actually extract HijackThis to its own folder: C:\HJT.
DO NOT run it from within a zip manager (Winzip), or Desktop as no backups will be saved.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 4: Scan your computer

Now Open Hijackthis -> Click "Do a system scan and save log file"
Hjt will scan your computer for about 15 sec. -> Log file will pop up.

Most items are perfectly fine. You should not remove them.
Never remove everything by yourself.
This forum will now help you work with the Experts to clean up your system.

-> Copy and paste the contents of the HijackThis log into your post.
Make new thread for your own log
Post full log, begins with: Logfile of HijackThis v1.99.1... etc

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Step 5:

Wait for help.
Remember:
Never remove, checkmark and fix by yourself.
Use Hijackthis at your own risk.
