here is my spec.

e6750
corsair 2gb dominator 1066mhz
seagate 320gb 7200.10 sata
asus p5k deluxe motherboard
650 watts cooler master psu
xfx 8800 gts 512mb alpha dog xxx edition
x-fi extreme gamer sound card


I've installed vista x86, vista x64, win xp x64, on this system and it keeps crashing everytime i run any game. It either restarts on me or the blue screen error comes up. I could not figure out what the problem is.. Is it the hardware or the Software? Please Help!

It could be that something is overheating.

What are your GPU and CPU temps?

Use riva tuner for the graphics card and speed fan for the CPU.

Does the bluescreen stay on the screen? If it does, try and note down which system driver created it. It it starts with nv it'll be your graphics card or drivers at fault. Have you tried using a different version of forceware?

yes i have. i'm using this version.. ForceWare 169.28 XP 32bit. took the video card out and put it back in. did the same for my x-fi extreme gamer sound card. and it still does the same thing. I would not think it's over heating cuz my cpu is not running higher than 15-20 c

Hmm. Does anybody you know have a decent 500W+ power supply you can borrow? You ought to test the PSU. Coolermaster units are usually quite good but no brand is perfect.
