Is it possible? I tried the 3.71m33 version but didnt work. Can I still?

it should work (havent tried). But some features could be disabled .Where are you putting the files

Sorry, but IRSHELL doesn't support 3.80 M33.
Even I really want to go back to 3.52 M33-4 but I don't want to loose 3.80 M33 so we both are stuck.
Wait for IRSHELL 3.9/4.0 to release.

there's more to irshell than changing tv channels.

Its not compatible with 3.80 M33-5. I tried it on my PSP slim and got an error message telling me that my firmware doesn't support that build of IRshell.

Apologies for the late response but does anyone know when or if IRShell 3.9 will come out? I'm running 3.80m33-5 on a Phat and would like to use IRShell.

Sorry, I asked too soon. Just did a quick search and what do you know IR Shell 3.9 is out and it's frickin awesome!

Get their latest patch from here and it will even work on 3.90 M33.

To all those saying 3.90 IRShell doesn't work on 3.80m33-5 you're sadly very wrong. I have it running on my slim without any issues, like some have said the slim doesn't allow for the infared features but it's kind of a gimmicky feature anyways.

My only question is how do you get music to play during gameplay? Whenever I start a song in IRShell and go to a game (ISO or UMD) and the music will stop, and I'll hear whatever sounds are on the ISO/UMD.

Have you been through all the settings in IRshell config? I was going through them yesterday and I'm sure there are some settings there that address that.

Haha it's a moot point at this point, I upgraded to 3.90m33-3 and now I'm having trouble to get IRshell working at all. I get to the main screen but nothing else wants to run, not even the config. Oh well, I'll screw around with it some more when I'm not so tired. I'm just glad everything runs flawlessly in XMB.
