How to rip an avi/mkv to dvd with multiple audio tracks?

Just as the subject says, I'm attempting to do this. I usually use Nero 7.6 (I think) to burn "dvd-video"s that work in most dvd players. Any way to burn a video file with multiple audio tracks to dvd? (maybe hard-encode the two audio tracks into one?) Thanks.

I've used 'DVD Flick ' to convert AVI file that have two audio streams to DVD format.

I know that DVD Flick can convert MKV to DVD, but I don't know for sure that it handles multiple tracks.

Of course if the standalone player is a DivX player, the (AVI) files can be played back without conversion.
MKV files can be converted to DivX using VirtualDub and AVISynth.
